Description

The Wizard Priest Audio version is book 2 in the Dragonspeaker Chronicles.

It is the story of Nellie Dreessen, a kitchen maid in the palace of Regent Bernard of Saardam.

Nellie has been working at the palace for some time, and has seen the best and worst in palace occupants. Now in the autumn of her life, her situation could not be worse. Her beloved queen died at the hand of magic and the regent dances to the tune of a church that doesn’t have the people’s best interest at heart.

But Nellie has a weapon. She inherits a box that contains a dragon. She doesn’t know anything about dragons and has no magic that would help her deal with a dragon. The dragon lives in a box and is pretty unhappy about that. Its master is a young prince, the dead queen’s bastard son. No one knows if the boy is still alive. Without him, the dragon will be hard to control. Everyone with a skerrick of magic has fled the town. Nellie is scared of magic, yet, she has no option but to learn about it. The dragon will only listen to her.
