This book is worth reading simply for the laughs. It covers all the niggle and naughty little details about space flight, backed up with details from NASA files.
The books focuses on weird and whacky details. Did you know, for example, that rabbits are the only animals that cannot be made to suffer motion sickness?
Of course, space flight carries real risk, and this book touches on those, but the tone is overwhelmingly light-hearted. I don’t know that I ever laughed this much reading a book of non-fiction. What makes it even more funny is that it’s all true.
