Here is another fun project I did recently.
There are no less than fifteen images in this composite. The landscape is mostly from NW Europe. The hills are from Scotland, but the spikes are from Italy. The beach is from the North Sea. The rocks are… I dunno. Just beach photos. One of them looks tropical. The sky was separate. The original sky in the main background image was blue.
The castle is English, but the castle wall is Spanish.
One of the issues with making these combined image artworks is the balancing of colour profiles. Sometimes an image is sunny, other times it’s muted and cloudy. Sometimes it’s blue, other times it’s red or green or yellow. You need to use the software to make sure all the components have the same tone and lightness.
