The Happy Writer: a series of audio blog posts
I started a thing.
A little while ago, when I wrote about audiobooks, it seemed kinda funny to me that the post itself was not in audio, because certainly, that’s the best medium to talk about audio, right?
I’ve been doing a lot of audio and rather enjoy it. But I don’t want to do the full podcast thing, because I don’t intend to do weekly shows or interviews. I just want to try a new medium to comment on writer questions. I also want to leave these posts up for the future. I have no idea how many of these I will make. As long as I can find something interesting to talk about.
Of course the project needed a name so I can use it to group the posts. I settled on The Happy Writer, because that’s my philosophy: if you don’t enjoy it, it’s not worth doing.
Will I put them up somewhere else? Some podcast/audio venues are free to use currently, and I may yet decide to use them once I know where this project is going, but you know what they say: if you’re not paying for the product, then you *are* the product. I’ve put this on my Youtube channel, but these days, I can’t watch Youtube without being forced to plough through ads amounting to longer than the video length.
So the button below goes to Bookfunnel, where you can host up to two hours in audio and remain 100% certain, even in the future, that there won’t be any ads. You can listen to the files there or download them for later listening. Or you can subscribe on Youtube if that’s your drug of choice.
